Talk on Steam Locomotive Operation
Visit to signal box to understand the operation of signals on the line.
Then it's onto the footplate and you will find yourself driving a passenger or freight locomotive.
Voucher
Each voucher entitles
2 persons
to participate in this experience. The voucher is transferable, which means that
anyone can use it. The voucher remains valid for bookings for 6 months from the date of purchase. Please contact
the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for your event.
Special Conditions
Overalls and Hi Visibilty vest will be provided .
Tea, coffee and lunch included.
Courses usually run with 2 participants on the footplate or in the can at one time.
Minimum age 18.
Limited dates available. Please check in advance if you want a specific date.
Polyester and Nylon overalls and clothing can blister with heat and should not be worn on the footplate.
Stout shoes or boots are recommended.
Booking your event
We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen
date. This is particularly important for weekend events.
